If at any time in the last 10 years you have called the Zoo’s Member Office, chances are good we have already “met” by phone.
I am currently one of the Membership Coordinators here at Seneca Park Zoo Society. Most of my day revolves around providing customer service by telephone and via e-mail. When you have a question and e-mail a note to email@example.com, I am the staff person who responds to you.
One of my main duties is to prepare your membership cards; the process involves sorting through payment forms from the mail, online sales and payments made here at the Zoo’s Front Gate. Once all the information is entered in our database, my work begins. I merge your information into a program that creates your new membership cards and then begin the verification process. This involves checking the actual paperwork for your membership category, making sure your name is spelled correctly and attaching coupons that may be included as benefits.
The processing time from the date of purchase to when cards arrive in your mailbox is approximately seven days. All of the above is done as quickly as possible so you can take advantage of our Member Express Check-In! Remember, members may enter the Zoo at 9:30 a.m. from April 1st through October 31st, 30 minutes before non-members!
I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to answer your membership questions, explain the different levels available to best suit your family’s needs, address any concerns or help with purchases for our exciting upcoming season. Please feel free to call the Member Office at (585) 336-7212.
It’s a great time to join the Zoo, buy a membership as a gift, or renew one that may have expired. We can’t wait for your family to experience our newest exhibit, A Step Into Africa, opening in May!
