Aren’t we all looking for ways to save money? We want to help.
We know that free admission through Zoo membership is always the best value. But we also hear that our member families want to visit the Zoo with their non-member friends or relatives. On select holidays in 2013, we are offering a free youth admission with a paid adult admission. These days are great for the general public, but are also an ideal time for our members to visit the Zoo with guests.
The first of these “days to save” will by Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Children will be home from school on Monday, Jan. 21 in celebration of Dr. King, Jr’s birthday. Why not bring your non-member friends or relatives and they can take advantage of this terrific savings on general admission? They will also benefit from the winter season’s lower adult admission rates and smaller crowds. What a great value! Discount days such as this one will be held throughout the year. Purchase a 2013 Zoo Calendar from our ZooShop, or click here for other locations that sell these beautiful calendars. Did you know that the 2013 Zoo calendar is on sale, too? It is currently 50% off, making the price only $6.50! And 100% of the proceeds support your Zoo.
We are observing winter hours, so the Zoo’s Front Gate is open from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and visitors may stay on grounds until 4 p.m. We hope to see you on Monday. I encourage our members to bring non-member guests that day, save money with this admission special and spend quality time with their loved ones and our animals!
